Finally Friday!

What a loooooooooooong Week! It has been super slow but has given my much time to think about my next craft project. A Sewing Project! To go along with my wish to go gree this year, I am attempting to make fabric sandwich baggies. I have thought long and hard about a pattern that I am creating myself. Maybe it will be prosperous too! I have the fabric picked out and ready to be cut....oh that saddens me more times than not. I get scared I will not like the outcome and waste my favorite (of the moment) fabric. Well, time to get out of that attitude or nothing will ever get made.
Here is the chosen fabric for this project. Just some fabric I picked up at JoAnne's one day. The combination is so not what I am use to. Two prints, unheard of!

Not a Monday?

Are you sure this was not a Monday? My goodness it was a bad start to the day! First, I get stuck in the mud while on E(mpty). I mean EMPTY. I was surrounded by water and could not get out of the car. I called my dad and Clyde to help me out! I got out and zoomed down the drive, trying to avoid getting stuck again. Get to the end of the road....right across from the gas station and traffice PICKED UP! It took me forever to cross the road. Finally get some gas in my car and am off! Much, much later that I had hoped for. I was on my way to being at work early today! Ride into work was pretty uneventful, thank goodness. I walk inot my building and straight to the Fed Ex drop box. On the way my shoes breaks. FOR REAL?!? Luckily it is still wearable but I am very sad. This is one of my new favorite pairs of shoes. I will be taking this in for repair if I cannot fix it myself! 
Thankfully the rest of the day has been much better. Still a bit weary. I have to get BACK down the driveway tonight!

New name?

Hear ya, hear ye......I am taking suggestions for what to really call this blog. I want it to include all the things that have started to interest me( crafts, green/natural living, cooking/recipes) as well as my family. Any thoughts?

Happy New Year

I know, I know I am so late at this. I decided this year I was going to journal but I figured I could post a lot of what I write here.

I made a few New year's Resolutions(if you want to call them that) It is mostly things I want to focus on this year or accomplish. If I call them a resolution I probably will fail!

So here is the list!

Loose weight(Will outline this on a later date)

Find a place to call a home of our own

Do atleast TWO crafty projects this year

Pay down on our debt ( goal is two credit cards paid off this year shooting for over the top of three) Will most likely blog about this at a later date

Do not Waste- trying to be a little greener

Start writing letters to my daughter- more to come

So that is what I am focusing on this year. And since it has been a little while.....
