Many years ago I went to a Christian Rock concert in a little church with my youth group. I cannot even remember the main act and reason I went now. Opening for this band I cannot recall was a new artist at the time who sung a genre of music I had not really heard. Folk Rock?? Her name is Jennifer Knapp! From the first song I was HOOKED! I loved her music and her message. I loved looking forward to new albums until one year she practically fell off the planet!
Every now and again I would google her to see if there was any news. It has been quite a long time since I last googled my FAVORITE artist.... thanks to the wonders of Facebook I have come up to speed and realized that 1. she is doing concerts near me next week.....wish I could go 2. A new album is to be released May 2010!
It totally made my day to know a new.....a really new( not a live or a collection) album is coming out soon. Kind of makes me feel like this WILL be a good year!!
